Another layout of eldest daughter

This will be the first page of the second album. It could be sub-labelled afghan page. In the first one is the afghan that her paternal grandmother made for her father. In the second one is an afghan that was made by someone for me when I was born.

Graduation, part II

Ex again in cap and gown, apparently at a party in his honor.
I'd love to hear comments on whether you like this kind of crooked on the page. I almost didn't place it like that because it goes against my grain somehow. I like it now...

Graduation, part I

Ex in cap and gown. The cap and gown were done with the Design Studio for Cricuts. Someone else made them. With permission, I was also able to use them.

Meet the Family, part II

Ex's brother Gus. His other younger brother was there although he isn't in either picture.

Meet the Family, part I

First meeting in 17 years. I could tell the story but it really isn't mine to tell.

3rd Birthday

This looks a little more washed out than it really is. This are pictures of me and my birthday presents at my 3rd birthday. One of my presents, the stuffed animal ladybug was my favorite for many years. It did have some competition with "Cookie" which was a black poodle stuffed animal. Cookie had a red collar and leash. Both "disappeared" when me moved from one house to another.
One this layout I had several firsts. I used eyelets, and rickrack for the first time on a layout.

5 years old

It isn't a birthday pic but a school picture, however, this just seemed good. The poem is about little boys and the joys they bring to those around them.

Giddy'Up

Another out of sequence layout in my oldest daughter's album.

Look At Me

Eldest daughter again, she's walking in these pics. These are a bit ahead of where I am in her album. I only got to 6 months so far.

First week

First week of my oldest daughter.

More Cards from a Baby Shower

First time for using some brighter colors, especially the green for the matting.

Daddy's Little Girl

Picture of my oldest girl and her father.

A Childs' Christmas

The title is rather too much for this layout. Would have been better on a 2 page layout. But I didn't think of it til I was doing the last page of my daughter's first Christmas. My mother's maiden name is Childs, and the gathering was at my Grandmother's house, with my mom's relatives.

Beginning to look like Christmas

Pictures of Christmas trees in 1985, my oldest daughter's first Christmas

Lion Cub

I didn't leave room for journalling on this one because there just isn't a lot of extra room.
The boy in the picture grew up to love lions and tigers.

Ladybug Girl

This layout is for my oldest daughter's album. I am getting closer to finishing it. Just 2 or three pages to go... YEAH!
She had a ladybug she liked to play with at bathtime. She'd bite on its back for some reason... LOL.

Little Boy Blue

Quick 8 1/2x11" layout. I have extra page protectors for this size, and lots of paper this size, so I will be doing a few of these.

The angel layout

It didn't turn out as well as I'd like, but here it is... all done.

Christmas at my sister's house

Pictures of my sister, niece and brother in law. My brother in law is playing with a toy cow that my niece got that year.

Page 3 of my album

Pictures of me as I grew.

Page 2 in my own album

Pics of myself as a baby.

Christmas - Dad's Christmas Presents

This is another background from that kit I bought. These pictures were dark even long ago when I took them. Dad got a router. I remember asking my mother why we were getting dad a router. I don't think I even knew what it was. She said it was what he wanted. My parents were still remodelling the house we lived in at the time.

Mom & Dad & School

The picture at the bottom you can't see too great. I took another pic of this layout but need to format it. This is the first page in my own album.

Another First Christmas

I bought a Christmas kit on sale at Joann's recently. The background, tag and journalling tag were part of the kit. I mostly bought the kit for the album that came with it.

A slight snag

Here is my dilemna. I'm not unhappy with the basic outline of the angel. The problem started when I tried painting a halo.
I need to know if you'd scrap (pardon the pun) the whole thing and start over? or just keep it.
I think it looks slightly worse in person than in the photo.

Bath Time

Pictures of baby's bath. I really loved the bathtub thing that we had back then. When we moved we didn't take it with us, so I didn't have it with the other two girls. Someone gave this to us, it was a cart like thing. It had a bathtub inside, but the outside was a changing table. So you kind of flipped it open and put water in it.
I still remember how slippery new babies are. I was quite afraid that I'd hurt her.

A Time To Rejoice

I really liked how this layout turned out. It is a two-pager. It is the last two pages of my oldest daughter's dedication ceremony.

More baby layouts

I'm in a push to get my oldest daughter's first album finished. There is no real hurry, I just know I'm getting close and want to get it finished. So I'll be posting a few more layouts today and probably more tomorrow. I far surpassed my December goal of 10 pages. So I have a goal for January of 20 pages. I know I did at least two yesterday, but am not sure the exact number.

This is a page with a card the Dr sent, and something else I had saved, I received it in the hospital I think.
